This project involved comprehensive environmental monitoring to support the upgrade and repair of the marine park jetty on Tioman Island. From 2017 to 2018, our team conducted detailed assessments of ambient air quality, boundary noise levels, and marine water quality. The primary objectives were to ensure compliance with environmental regulations, mitigate potential environmental impacts, and promote sustainable construction practices.

Key Activities:

• Ambient Air Quality Monitoring: Continuous monitoring of air quality to detect and control emissions, ensuring that construction activities did not negatively impact the surrounding environment and community.
• Boundary Noise Level Assessments: Regular assessments of noise levels at the site boundary to minimize the impact of construction noise on nearby residential and natural areas.
• Marine Water Quality Sampling and Analysis: Frequent sampling and analysis of marine water quality to prevent contamination and protect the marine ecosystem around Tioman Island.
